Blue Jay in creek at Camp Connell....

........near Big Trees State Park, above Arnold, CA. He was enjoying his bath, splashing in the cool water. The green color is a reflection of the greenery nearby.

We have baby quail!

Two (or three) are huddled near their parents by the berry vines out back.

Fresh plums picked this morning.....still lots more on the tree - hopefull, Miss
Doe will leave them for us and stick to eating the tree leaves!
